May 21 小结After working as a car salesman and reading half of the book How to Sell Anything to Aynbody by Joe Girard, who by the way is the greatest salesman ever in automobile industry, it is a good time to do a conslusion on what I have been and read. There are certain things that I should pay more attention to.
1. Treat every customer as a human being instead of someone who will have a dreadful fight with you on the price, which normally they will. By looking at them as normal people and feel what they may feel, I can have a clear picture of what they really want and offer them the most appropiate products.
2. Don't waste time on talking to buddies in the lealership. Instead, do sth that will get me more prospect customers or go through the price list again to ensure that I know everything on it.
3. Try best to satisfy every one, coz' nobody can afford to lose even one potential customer who may tell 250 people on average he or she knows about the bad experience.
4. Gradually build up my file of customers and get them posted on festivals to remind them that they have not been forgotten.
5. Use business card and let everyone around know what I am selling. Bring a stack of business cards with me wherever I go and do not hesitate to give them to people I am talking to.
6. Get better at making phone calls to prospects. Remember all the qualifying questions I have to ask and write the answers down in the note.
7. Get more familiar with every thing about automobile industry including the spec sheets, brochures, stats and competitors.
Those are pretty much what I can think of at the moment. To be continued... |
